cupcake central.

It is my first Monday back at Liberty after Thanksgiving break. To say that I lack motivation to do homework would be an understatement. I really do love the time that I had at home, but it was one giant tease before Christmas break. Thanksgiving break: “Hey Kels, aren’t you having a great time at home? Going to bed before midnight and not setting an alarm clock… Watching Conan on a real TV, sitting on a real couch… Being at your home church… Laughing everyday with your family and long-lost friends? Oh yeah… It’s been real fun!” And then BAM! Here I am, back at Liberty, with three more papers, four more projects and two finals separating me from Christmas break. Bleh. I guess I could get a start on all of this homework, but why would I do that when I could be writing a blog post?

One of my favorite days at home was when a couple of my friends came over to have a giant cupcake making party. This summer, we went through a little bit of a phase… We watched cupcake shows on TV, we went to cute little cupcake “boutiques” and we made/ate a heck of a lot of cupcakes. Thus, over Thanksgiving break, it was only appropriate that we have a little cupcake reunion. Now Internet, it is important for you to know that I cannot cook or bake. It is just not a gift that I have inherited, and most of my friends can attest to that. But I have to be honest… These cupcakes were phenomenal. I obviously can’t take all the credit, but we were all mini Rachel Ray’s that day. Here’s a little peek into our cupcake partayy…

We started with a little red velvet action… YUMMMMM.

Some of the lovely bakers…

Some more bakers, and the beginning of our awesome rainbow cupcakes.

Espresso Cupcakes = LOVE.

Told you they were awesome. My favorite & the prettiest. :)

Totally unrelated, but here’s a pic of the family over break. They’re great. :)
